You’ve used Res Gel to clean your equipment, and it has been doing a splendid job. But now you’ve used almost all the Gel, and you’re desperately squeezing the pouch to get every last drop.
But what if we told you there was a foolproof way to get the most out of your Res Gel pouch— every single time. A way that won’t require you to hopelessly squeeze the life out of the pouch, and one that will give you an extra few uses.
Let’s get to it.
Don’t Overpour The Gel
Before we talk about getting the most of your Gel when it’s almost finished, let’s discuss how you should use it when you first open the pouch. A little bit of Gel and some hot water can go a long way. Never use more than necessary. We know water pipes can get ridiculously messy, but that doesn’t mean you need to over pour the Gel.
Getting The Most From The Gel Pouches
When the pouch is almost out of Gel, what people commonly do is attempt to squeeze every last drop out. We have a better method:
- Even when the pouch seems like it’s practically empty, there is still some leftover Gel left in the crevices of the pouch.
- Add hot water to the pouch. The hot water pulls the Gel out of the crevices, and it’ll usually give you enough for 1-2 cleanings.
This is an easy way to get the most out of your Gel. Use the Gel conservatively (don’t overdo it), and once it gets to the final drops, use some hot water to get a few extra cleanings from it. This is the best way to ensure you get the most from your Gel — every single time.
